Who We Are
Our customer journey is extremely important to us and has been refined over many successful years. Mabel and Wade collaborates closely with our clients to create personalised and functional spaces that reflect their style, meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
Our process is outlined below:
Initial Consultation
Objective: Understand the client’s needs, preferences, and goals. Discuss the project scope (e.g., a single room or the entire home). Learn about the client’s style preferences, budget, and timeline. Explore the client’s lifestyle and functional requirements, such as family size, hobbies, or storage needs.
Concept Development
Objective: Develop a cohesive design concept that aligns with the client’s vision. Create mood boards, sketches, or digital renderings to visualize ideas. Propose a colour palette, materials, and potential layouts. Share inspirational images to refine the client’s style direction.
Design Plan and Proposal
Objective: Present a detailed plan for the project. Develop floor plans, 3D models, and elevations. Specify furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and accessories. Provide a breakdown of costs and an estimated project timeline.
Client Feedback and Revisions
Objective: Ensure the design aligns perfectly with the client’s expectations. Review the proposed designs with the client. Gather feedback and make necessary adjustments. Finalize the design plan after approval.
Implementation and Execution
Objective: Bring the design to life. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and craftsmen for installations. Monitor the progress to ensure the design is executed as planned. Source and purchase furniture and decor.
Final Styling and Reveal
Objective: Add the finishing touches and present the completed design. Arrange furniture and style the space with decor items. Address any final adjustments or touch-ups. Conduct a walkthrough with the client to ensure satisfaction.
Post-Project Follow-Up
Objective: Ensure long-term satisfaction. Provide maintenance tips for materials and furnishings. Offer support for any issues or future needs.
Initial Consultation
Our first objective is to understand your needs. Our Home Design Consultants arrange a convenient time to discuss your vision, preferences, budget and timeline expectations. We will explore options with you, show you our product range and explain the full customer journey. The initial consultation can be conducted virtually, on the telephone or in person and agreed actions will be decided in view of moving your project forward.
Project Development
Based on actions from ‘Step 1’, Mabel and Wade will then move towards realising your project. This includes arranging a follow up meeting to show you samples, create provisional sketches, CAD images and propose colour schemes. We will also explain the various technical options on offer such as appliances that you may wish to integrate. This is the first time you will see your vision coming to life. Don’t worry if this stage seems daunting, our Home Design Consultant team will help you with a touch of inspiration.
Design, Plan and Proposal
This step requires us to finalise a detailed design plan, 3D modelling, elevations, finishes and accessories. We will provide a full breakdown of costs, estimated project timeline and any other project specific aspects that need communicating.
Client Feedback and Revisions
We will now leave the designs and other information with you to ensure the design aligns perfectly with expectations. We will set a meeting to review the proposed design, gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.
Delivery and Installation
A supply date will be agreed and you will take delivery of your new project materials. If you have opted to have a Mabel and Wade installation, our expert team will arrive on site to expertly install the project. Our installation team on site work closely with your Home Design Consultant to ensure the design is executed as planned.
Post Project follow up
To ensure long-term satisfaction. Mabel and Wade will an installation pack, provide maintenance tips for materials and furnishings and any other information you may need. We will be on hand to answer any post installation questions.
